Briar||Rook Apprentice
General Information
Alias(es): Briar
Gender: Female
Orientation: Straight
Age: 2 Years
Pack: Vertok
Rank: Rook Apprentice
Height/Weight- She stands at about 35 inches tall and weighs in at 65 pounds.
Scent- From being out in the woods with her paws churning the dirt, Briar has a rather earthy smell to her. It isn't a displeasing smell, more like the scent after a heavy rain.
Voice- Cricket Leigh, the voice of Mei from Avatar the Last Air Bender. Her voice is raspy and serious, thus strengthen her aura of seriousness.
Serious-Her parents have put a lot of pressure on her to be perfect and bring honor to them, this upbringing has made her focus more on her future rather than enjoying her present as she has gotten older.
Dreamer- Below her serious exterior Briar often dreams of her future which she believes is better than the life she has as a pup. Her current life isn't terrible, but she holds hope that things will be better when she is older.
Sweet- Briar does have a soft spot under her had exterior, it just takes a moment for it to come out, but once you're past that surface she will do anything she can for a friend.
Agile- One of the traits that makes her stand out as an apprentice Rook is Briar's agility, she can navigate tight turns on a run and has rather quick reflexes.
Her frame began to bulk up and Ryv noticed the change, giving Briar hints of what she could do to improve and Ryv would check in on her parents here and there. Once Briar was of age she asked Ryv to become his apprentice. To her horror he laughed, she was sure he was going to turn her down, instead he countered her with: "I was hoping you would ask."
From that day on Briar has focused hard on her apprenticeship, so much that she often forgets she is still young and has a full life ahead of her so it's up to her friends to help her remember that there is still fun in life and that she doesn't have to wait for her dreams to come true in order to enjoy the world around her instead of just sticking to the tasks at hand.

History
Briar was the only pup born of her parents litter, they doted on her and encouraged her to strive for the best, though her parents had their own ideas for their daughter. They wanted her to be a Bishop, a healer, both of her parents are Pawns in the pack, dedicating their lives to the Vertok and though they found pride in their rank they wanted more for Briar. At first she thought she could become a healer, but as she grew she became less interested in the medicinal properties of plants and found herself watching the Rooks as they left the pack and came back with prey. She admired their work and sometimes would sneak off to watch them leave on a hunt until they got to far. She spent more time avoiding her studies and eventually her parent began to take notice. Though they weren't happy they let their daughter continue to watch and observe her until Briar got up the nerve to tell her parents that she wanted to start an apprenticeship as a Rook when she was a year of age. Her parents agreed, thinking she could bring them honor by becoming a strong huntress.
Unknown to Briar, when she would follow the Rooks as they headed out onto their hunts, she was spotted by Ryv, a long time Rook who found potential in the brown toned pup. Eventually he began to sit with the pups around Briars age and tell them stories of their hunts, making the little girl stare and listen with wide eyes. Every story made her want to go out into the world more and more. Between stories and studying the Rooks when they were in the pack grounds, Briar focused on improving herself physically. She would make up her own training routines in her head and every day she would go out on runs, jumping over obstacles and coming up with whatever she could to become more fit.
